During the Spike Video Game Awards this past weekend, a host of exciting new announcements and trailers emerged for gamers to gorge upon, not least of which was the surprise reveal of Bethesda Softworks? Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, an entirely new action RPG from the makers of Fallout 3!
Bethesda has just confirmed that Elder Scrolls V is scheduled for release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on November 11th, 2011, and is currently in development under the masterful guidance of the game’s director, Todd Howard.
Notorious scoop magazine Game Informer will get the first details on Skyrim early next year in the February edition of the publication (which will be with subscribers in January).
Todd Howard said of Elder Scrolls V:
?It?s exciting finally to announce the game. We?ve been working for many years on Skyrim and the technology behind it. A new Elder Scrolls game has been a long time coming, and we can?t wait to show it off.?
