Can you smell that? Sniff. It’s the weekend, and after another busy week at El33t Towers we’re all looking forward to kicking off our shoes, settling into the couch and playing some awesome games. How about you?
Find out what the El33tonline Team will be up to over the next two days to relax as we get ready to bring you more awesome news, reviews and competitions next week.

“The sun is shining in Durban, providing a nice dose of natural light to illuminate the living room for good times spent gaming. This week I’ve been treated to a smrgsbord of quality titles - Lara Croft & the Guardian of Light, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, The 3rd Birthday, Parasite Eve and Time Crisis 4 (the Move version). The days ahead should see me using the force in Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, bristling with bravado in Deadstorm Pirates, and chipping away to unearth the credits in both Lara Croft & the Guardian of Light and Parasite Eve.
What is your personal preference for the coming weekend?”

“Looking forward to the weekend with some outdoor activities and a return to ‘arguably the world’s worst restaurant.’ I just really hope my old rugby injury doesn’t get aggravated with all that prancing around on the beach (three surgeries is enough for any gamer - I’ve tapped out of sick leave and couch recovery time…And besides, Oltman doesn’t have any more games to lend me if I’m man down again).
Last week was awesome with the Sharks being THE ONLY victorious South African team and they’ve got a much deserved break (…Speaking of which, my knee DOES NOT deserve another break :-P).
I’ll be throwing a skip pass over Borderlands this weekend (man, Ned’s zombies are TOUGH) but will be finishing off my thoughts on Dishwasher 2 AKA Vampire Smile; that game takes some getting used to, but when you’ve adjusted to the gritty flashy artiness it’s kind of fun. The final verdict will be out soon but I can say it’s not a bad game to win :) until next week then my adoring fans! (Thanks mom, I got your muffins - they were yummy).”

“What is a weekend without any games? Boring! But sometimes you need to uphold a level of social interaction and when that interaction includes family, it is normally not voluntary. With a wedding in the Pretty River area and out of town family coming to visit, it will be a miracle if I get a chance to play any games.
If I get a few minutes here and there, I will be aiming to improve my score with Swarm, a terribly addictive XBLA game by Hothead Games. You should be able to read the review here. Momma needs a brand new hat!
Also, if anybody is keen to challenge me for a round of skins in Tiger Woods 12, just pop me an invitation on LIVE. I will gladly take your virtual money! And no, I dont really look like that! My Photo Game Face came out looking like Rodney Dangerfield… I am way more attractive in real life! Promise!”

?Sunday, Sunday here again in tidy attire??
If the local power company will allow a good quota of electricity to run through the wires, I?m all set for a weekend of gaming, both online and off!
After playing the SOCOM 4/Special Forces beta last week I?m keen to get back into the fray soon with the full version of the game, while continuing the solo campaign and listening out for Nolan ?Nathan Drake? North in amongst the Australian accents (?Eeff ah kehn geht clawse eenuff, ah?ll put a chaahj on eet!?)
I?ll also be trudging through some flora to try and hunt down some more fauna in theHunter (an online hunting game), and perhaps finally get around to testing my reaction speeds in MotorStorm Apocalypse . Crysis 2 multiplayer may also be on the cards if time allows.
I?m hoping for some cold, wet weather this weekend so I don?t feel bad about staying indoors? but I?ll probably just end up feeling bad about it because Durban is looking great! Wish you were here!

“I?ll be spending some time in the trenches this weekend, someone needs to defend the world against the Helghast in Killzone 3! Since I also have a sensitive side, and enjoy other things apart from blowing stuff up (don?t judge me), I also hope to teach my puppy a few new tricks in Nintendogs for the 3DS and give de Blob 2 a whirl too.
I?m not sure what games Postman Pat will deliver today, but I?m holding thumbs that it will be something good and then I can keep my team happy. Of course I?ll also be plotting and planning for great new competitions to keep all of you guys happy too! Have a great weekend everyone :)”
