Uncharted developer Naughty Dog has announced that title update 1.05 for Uncharted 3 has been released and should be available now in your region. If it’s not, it’ll hit your part of the world very soon.
What does the latest patch for Uncharted 3 fix? The developer has once again focussed on multiplayer issues and this time has fixed at least one of the problems that members of El33tonline in particular have encountered, but we’re still going to have to wait until the other issues we’ve encountered will be addressed any time soon.
Here’s what’s been fixed in patch 1.05:
- Integrated bandwidth testing for hosts, so only hosts with optimum connections will be permitted to become game hosts (will help improve gameplay experience for everyone)
- Fixed an issue in which, under some circumstances, some players of a party would be left in the lobby while others went into Matchmaking and played matches
- Medal fixes for Fort - Adventure Mode specific medals; all medal icons now show up appropriately and medals can be obtained in-game.
“Additionally, Patch 1.05 contains the necessary technical hooks for Flashback Map Pack #2, available on the PlayStation store starting today.
“Please note: Patch 1.05 must be downloaded in order to play the upcoming DLC via online or on LAN Party.”
If you haven’t yet, you need to read Lisa’s brilliant, hilarious article regarding the adventures she has had while trying to get into games of Uncharted 3 multiplayer. No lie, Uncharted 3 is Lisa’s favourite multiplayer game, so we hope Naughty Dog has fix these problems really soon!
