cyrenepenya: Ubisoft reveals enormous Wii U line-up, ZombiU and Rayman Legends confirmed for launch

All of the major videogame publishers have today pledged their support for Nintendo’s upcoming Wii U home console, but none quite so vehemently as Ubisoft which has revealed an enormous line-up comprising eight games.

What’s the best part of Ubisoft’s plans to support the Wii U? Both Rayman Legends and ZombiU have been confirmed as launch titles for the console when it’s released in November this year!

Rayman Legends

Rayman Legends is the wonderful continuation of a brand new series of beautifully realised 2D action platformers starring the once- and once-more-legend, Rayman. Rayman Origins was an incredible title, but Rayman Legends takes everything we know about that fluid, fast-paced platform game and adds a host of features unique to the Wii U, with asynchronous gameplay between players thanks to the use of the GamePad tablet controller.

ZombiU

ZombiU is a brand new intellectual property from Ubisoft and puts players in the shoes of a survivor wrestling their way through a city full of blood thirsty, undead zombies.

As a first-person shooter, you’ll be fending off the advances of these shambling flesh-eaters with cricket bats, shotguns and melee attacks, while the newly unveiled weapon crafting feature lets players customise their equipment using the Wii U’s GamePad tablet contoller.

“At launch,” writes Ubisoft, “a limited edition ‘Wii U ZombiU Premium Pack’ will be made available that includes the game along with a black Wii U console, and a black Wii U Pro Controller.”

Both Rayman Legends and ZombiU will be out in time for the launch of the Wii U on November 18th in the US and November 30th in Europe, but here is a collection of other Ubisoft titles that will become available following the release of the home console:

Just Dance 4

Marvel: The Avengers - Battle for Earth

Rabbids Land
