TGS 2012: PlayStation Mobile arrives next month, 30 titles available at launch

PlayStation Mobile is an exciting initiative since it expands the scope of PlayStation to non-Sony devices and provides developers with a relatively cheap and hassle-free way to make their games available to a large audience.

Sony recently provided more details on PlayStation Mobile during the Tokyo Game Show. The service will launch on October 3rd with around 30 titles from a range of indie developers and first-party studios. These game will be priced from around $2 to $20 and will span a variety of genres. All titles will work on PS Vita and PlayStation-Certified mobile devices including certain models manufactured by Sony, HTC, ASUS Tek, Fujitsu and Sharp.

Sony will also offer the official PlayStation Mobile SDK from November, with developers only needing to pay $99 for the annual license agreement fee.
