Latest Forza Horizon developer video visits the open roads of Colorado

The first video in a series of behind-the-scenes looks at Forza Horizon focussed on some of the neat new features that Turn 10 and developer Playground Games are bringing to the upcoming realistic open-world racer, with talk of populated roads and (my personal favourite) night racing, amongst other topics.

The second trailer takes a much closer look at the environment that you’ll be speeding through in Forza Horizon, inspired by the diversity of Colorado in the United States.

Forza Horizon is truly looking incredible, and combined with the realism that Forza Motorsport is known for as well as new opportunities and ways to race through the world, it seems to have effectively become something different to other similar racing titles.

An announcement of the price for the game’s Season Pass, however, is at least a little concerning. For $49.99, or 4000 MS Points, you’ll gain access to a planned expansion for Forza Horizon, as well as a ‘launch-day pack,’ five exclusive vehicles and six additional car packs comprising six cars each. If you buy the Season Pass, you’ll save 17% if you were to buy each portion of content individually as they’re released.

Does that sound steep to you?

In any case, watch the latest developer diary for Forza Horizon below to see the amazing game world in motion:
