Warner Bros. Interactive has today announced Midway Arcade Origins, a collection of over 30 classic Midway arcade games with legendary titles like Gauntlet, Joust and Defender included on the disc.
Coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in November, Midway Arcade Origins will also include games such as Spy Hunter, Marble Madness and Rampage.
“New players can experience these industry-defining classics,” writes Warner Bros. Interactive, “while longtime fans of classic arcade games can re-master their favourite titles with new PlayStation Network Trophies and Xbox 360 Achievements support.
You’ll even be able to play “many” of the included games with up to three other people in local co-operative multiplayer, with the option to post your high scores online, too. Midway Arcade Origins is currently in the works at Backbone Entertainment and will retail for $29.99 - watch the announcement trailer below:
