Good news, folks -- Tango is about to reach Windows Phone. No, not that Tango. We're referring to the video calling service that's already popular on iOS and Android devices, but has had absolutely no presence on Microsoft's platform at all. Of course, there's a blatantly obvious reason for that: the OS didn't support front-facing cameras until Mango came along. At this week's unveiling of HTC's first WP7.5 devices, someone perusing the Radar's software happened across a Tango app in the Start menu, indicating users will have more video chatting options to choose from than just Skype. Better yet, it appears to offer cross-platform compatibility to ensure you can see your Android-toting pals and your iPhone-equipped in-laws up close and personal. We're ecstatic to see the feature finally ready to go with Mango's debut, but unfortunately it's only a matter of time before the name confusion settles in.

Official: Chrysler 200 Convertible reborn as Lancia Flavia Cabrio for Frankfurt

Well you're in luck, because it's nearly time to drop your tops and rock out to the all-new Lancia Flavia Cabrio! Ignore your American friends when they try to tell you it's just a Chrysler 200 Convertible wearing Lancia badges, they're all just jealous.

The Lancia Flavia Cabrio is set to make its debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, along with a host of other new Lancia products. The 175-horsepower 2.4-liter I4 and six-speed automatic transmission come standard, and will make sure to push your butt back into its fine, fine (optional) leather. Sure, you can use the whole seat... but you'll only need the edge.

Google Voice for Android updated with tablet support

The Google Voice app just received another update this evening, bumping it to version 4.2.34 and bringing a very short (but welcome) change log -- tablet support.  We've seen just how easy it is to sideload the app onto your tablet, and plenty of folks noticed the way the action bar looks more tablet-like in the update a few days ago, but now it's more official with it sitting right in the Market, waiting for you to download it.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Pink Panther cars up for auction

Television and movie memorabilia fans can get excited. Both the original Pink Panther car and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang are headed to auction. The Panthermobile has been to auction once before since being created in 1969 by Jay Ohrberg. You may remember the designer as the mind behind hardware like K.I.T.T., the Back to the Future DeLorean, the General Lee, the Ford Gran Torino from Starsky and Hutch as well as Batmobiles from both 1966 and 1989. This was a busy guy. The Panthermobile is expected to fetch between £50,000 and £100,000 when it goes on sale on October 14. That's between $81,585 and $163,170 at current conversion rates.

Meanwhile, a licensed replica of the famous Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is also going under the gavel. This particular machine was crafted in 2000 by Tony Green and includes hardware from one of the six original movie cars. The replica also features folding wings, a propeller and rotating blades to mimic the movements of the movie cars. All told, the auction house expects the replica to bring in between £150,000 to £250,000, or $244,755 to $407,925 at current conversion rates. Seems a bit steep to us. S-Walker Electric Transporter hands-on (video)

In an IFA galaxy far far away lives the China Pavilion. And on the far side of the outer ring of the China Pavilion, buried amongst a plethora of steamers, curling irons, and television mounts, you may stumble upon the S-Walker -- though you're just as likely to miss it. And what might an S-Walker be? Well, if we're being precise, it's a "Speed-Walker, Sky-Walker, whatever," according to its German booth master. Luke would be proud. Lesser beings may recognize it as a KIRF Segway, designed in Germany and handmade in China, just a mere ten days ago. Its biggest strength lies in price -- the thing is expected to retail for €2,500 (about $3,550) sometime in the middle of next year. We suppose this yet-to-be-released electric transporter is here to serve warehouse workers, couriers, and the millions of college students who every day dream of zooming across campus atop a pair of motorized wheels, but simply couldn't justify spending an entire semester's tuition on a Segway.

We spent a few minutes riding the world's first (and only) functional S-Walker around the rather deserted International Hall, and while very much still a prototype, the battery powered contraption felt peppy enough and responded accurately to commands, moving forward as we leaned to the front, and backing up as we shifted weight to the rear. You control direction using a small handlebar-mounted joystick, rather than by leaning from side-to-side as you would on a Segway. The designers capped speed at 10 kilometers per hour for the IFA demo, but production models will be boosted to 30 km/h, and it's theoretically capable of reaching 100 km/h (but that'll likely require some potentially-illegal hacking on your part). Android App Review: Cyanide & Happiness

 

 

 

Cyanide & Happiness is pretty darn hilarious. From their nonsensical comics to their "no one has hair" drawing style, the crazy antics and social commentary never cease to make me chuckle. When I found out they had an Android app, I was all over that like white on rice.

As far as the app goes, it's pretty simple to navigate. Open it up and you're taken to the main home screen which displays the latest comic, latest news story, and latest short. Basically, if you're looking for the latest, home is the place to be.

There's also a comics tab for (you guessed it!) an entire archive of comics as well as a list for those you've denoted as your favorites. The shorts tab has all of their videos. Select a short and you'll be prompted to choose your browser or the YouTube app (provided you have the YouTube app installed), but since it's streaming from YouTube regardless, playback works well.

The last tab is news and it's where all the non-comic, non-shorts blurbs go. Everything is chronological, with the newest stuff up top. Tap an article and it full-screens, perfectly rendered for whatever your resolution is.

There's also a pretty bare options menu, but you should check it out for the "Seizure Mode." I'll leave it at that.
