Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy XIII-2 will see a release in Japan this year and early next year in Western territories, with details of a limited edition Lightning-themed PlayStation 3 console also revealed.
In Japan, Final Fantasy XIII-2 will launch on December 15th, and to commemorate its release, the PlayStation 3 Final Fantasy XIII-2 ?Lightning Edition? console is become available on the same day. The console comes standard with a 320 GB hard drive and will retail for �37 960 (roughly $492) - check it out:
In North America, Final Fantasy XIII-2 will become available on January 31st 2012, while Europe and the UK will get the next epic RPG from Square Enix on February 3rd 2012 - that?s on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
