The Last Story is one of the Wii’s most celebrated action RPGs but fans in North America have had to patiently wait for it to arrive on their shores following its European release in February. Xseed Games is handling publishing duties in the US, and recently announced that The Last Story will be released on August 14th in the territory.
The publisher is offering some great incentives for fans to pre-order the game or pick it up at launch. Pre-ordering it from Amazon, EB Games Canada or GameStop will earn you a bonus soundtrack CD featuring seven tracks from the game composed by Nobuo Uematsu, while all launch copies of The Last Story will include a 44-page artbook and custom outer box to store both the game and the artbook in.
