Knights Contract (no apostrophe) is branded as an action-adventure game and is developed by Game Republic and published by Namco Bandai Games. Knights Contract serves up a good helping of action as you traverse a vast expanse of magically altered environments, but I think a more apt description for this “action-adventure” is rather “hack-and-slash murderous demon slaying romp.”
