A global release date has been announced for Codemasters? next off-road rally racer, DiRT 3, and unfortunately we still have a bit of a wait before we get to throw beast-like driving machines around a vast array of track types, and partake in a bit of professional Gymkhana, too.
DiRT 3 will be available on May 24th around the world on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, and aims to provide double the track content seen in Codemasters? previous excellent racer, DiRT 2. We?ll still be globetrotting in DiRT 3, however, and by the end of the game we?ll have visited places like Finland, the US (Michigan), Kenya and Norway.
I?m most excited about the promised improvements to the car damage model and ?race-changing weather,? myself. DiRT 2 was a fantastic game, but DiRT 3 sounds (and looks!) to be taking things to another level!
