Bluepoint Games handling PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale PS Vita port

If you had any concerns over whether the PS Vita port of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale would receive the same degree of developer polish as the PS3 version, then rest assured that it will. Texas-based studio Bluepoint Games is handling the conversion and has a reputation for quality products for the PlayStation platform, having previously worked on Blast Factor, the God of War Collection, the Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection and the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.

What’s more, both versions of the game use the developer’s Bluepoint Engine so you can be sure that it will have been re-optimised for the PS Vita.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will be released during the latter part of the year and features Cross-Play and Cross-Save support between the PS3 and Vita versions. The latest round of characters to be confirmed for this mascot brawler include Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series and BioShock’s Mr. Bubbles (aka Big Daddy).
