This latest trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Revelations outs one of the game’s additional mission types, namely ‘den defence,’ where you’ll be tasked with setting up barricades, crossbow snipers and cannon emplacements to fend off waves of enemies streaming into your turf.
As Ezio, you’ll also need to direct your troops to effectively send the invaders running, which sounds like a great pace-changer to take a break from all of the open-world rooftop traversal and sword slashing action you’ll be taking part in throughout the adventure.
Watch below as Ezio defends Constantinople for a new-found friend, before diving off of a building (hopefully into a haystack…):
