Timegate Studios has announced that its sci-fi first-person shooter, Section 8: Prejudice, will be arriving on the PlayStation Network this month.
Section 8: Prejudice is the sequel to the developer?s 2009 multiplayer-focused first-person shooter, Section 8. The game launched on Xbox LIVE Arcade back in April but the PS3 release was delayed for three months so that it could be optimised for the platform.
It looks like it was worth the wait though because the PS3 version includes new content, such as two additional multiplayer map modes (Skirmish and Assault) as well as exclusive content for PlayStation Plus members.
There?s also a couple of other specials you may like to keep an eye on: if you buy the game on the PlayStation Network during the first week you?ll receive the Blitz Armor Pack and Overdrive Map Pack for free (including two armor skins, early unlocks and two additional multiplayer maps); and the first 1000 PlayStation Plus members who buy the game will also receive the exclusive in-game Hunter Armor and a free copy of the original Section 8. Section 8: Prejudice will be available on the PlayStation Network for 12,99 on the 27th of July.
Find out a little bit more from Timegate Studios about what you can expect from Section 8: Prejudice when it launches: ?Section 8: Prejudice features a five-hour story-driven campaign, four multiplayer game modes (all of which offer offline bot support), Dynamic Combat Missions, highly customizable weapon and equipment loadouts, deep level progression and unlockable content systems, and last but not least, jetpacks.?
