Sony has launched the PlayStation Store in Brazil, making it the second country in Latin America to have access to digital content from the PlayStation Network.
PS3 users in Brazil now have access to nearly 200 pieces of digital content, including games, demos and PSone Classics. PlayStation Network pre-paid cards are not yet available in local retail stores (but will be soon), but purchases can be made using credit cards.
Prices of content are displayed in local currency and users have the option of viewing the PS Store in English or fully localised Brazilian Portuguese. Starting on the 2nd of August new content will be added weekly.
In addition to the new PlayStation Store, Sony also launched the PlayStation Brazil Blog and the PlayStation Brazil Website where you?ll be able to find official news and product information from Sony.
