It’s not every day that we see a PSP title leading the Media Create software chart by such a large margin but clearly there’s a huge market for 2nd Super Robot Wars Z: Saisei-hen. The game sold a whopping 265 439 copies during its first four days on sale to skyrocket it to the top of the chart.
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance came in second place but sales of this Disney themed action RPG were 80% lower than the game’s impressive opening tally last week.
Despite the Xbox 360’s unpopularity in Japan, Kinect titles still seem to hold some appeal for consumers. Kinect Star Wars came in twelfth position this week with 6 010 copies sold. The game helped boost Xbox 360 sales as evidenced by this week’s hardware chart.
