Many of you will be picking up a PS Vita this week so naturally you’ll want to check out a few demos to see what your new system is capable of.
There’ll be a few demos available on the US PlayStation Store this week including ones for Rayman Origins, Hustle Kings, Unit 13 and FIFA Soccer.
However, if you’d like to sample Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Gravity Rush you’ll need to head over to the Hong Kong PlayStation Store where English demos for both games have been available for the last couple of weeks. Of course you’ll need to set up a Hong Kong PSN account first but this shouldn’t take you more than five minutes.
Once you’ve accessed the Hong Kong Store on your PS3 you can follow these steps to snag both demos:
- access ‘PS Vita’ in the left column
- access ‘PS Vita Demos’
- go to the appropriate demo and download it to your PS3
- connect your PS Vita to your PS3 and transfer the demo across
You can also access the Store directly from your PS Vita and download the demos onto your memory card.
The sample for Uncharted: Golden Abyss features two chapters from the game while the one for Gravity Rush lets you play the opening section of this awe-inspiring game.
