Binary Domain PC port due in April

PC gamers are often very vocal when it comes to pleading with publishers to port popular console titles over to their preferred platform. Often their pleas fall on deaf ears (e.g. Red Dead Redemption, Dark Souls) but every so often a publisher actually listens and a PC port ensues.

Yesterday Sega announced that futuristic third-person shooter Binary Domain will be released on PC during April - just two months after the console versions. Gary Knight, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Sega, backed up the announcement with these words:

“As well as the excitement generated by Binary Domain in the console press we were seeing increasing numbers of players asking for a PC version. So we listened and we delivered.”

UK developer Devil’s Details will be handling the PC version and are no stranger to porting Sega games to the platform, having worked on the Sonic Generations PC port last year.

Binary Domain will be available at retail and through digital distribution channels sometime during April. Steam lists the game’s release date as April 6th.
